Classes of 1959 and 1960 Reunion Update..

Dates:  October 5-6, 2018

We will be meeting at the Quality Inn of Ada in their large Banquet Room.  The room has access to the tables and chairs around the pool area for those who would like to visit outside provided the weather is nice.  Quality Inn has a cash bar on the premises as well.

There will be planned activities on Friday and Saturday afternoons to be announced soon.  There is an Ada High Football game on Friday night for those who want to attend.  The rest of us can use the time to visit and relax at the Banquet room on both Friday and Saturday nights.

The cost for our reunion will be $49.95 per person which includes the facility and two evening meals.  Mail your checks ahead so we know you are coming and make payable to Marilynn Blackmon, 1315 N Oak Ave #101, Ada OK 74820.

Here's the timeline of activities for our upcoming reunion:

FRIDAY - October 5th

10:30 AM - Meet at Wintersmith Park (east side of lodge) and enjoy a walk around the Park with Bruce Long leading the way.....or those that don't want to walk can just visit there.  Lots of tables are available on the east side of the lodge.

Noon: Pick up and bring your own lunch with you to Wintersmith  with lots of time to visit.  If weather is a problem, we can take our lunches to Quality Inn at noon for time to eat and visit. (If Folgers is open, you can order a burger to go at 580-332-9808....).

5:30 PM - Dinner at Quality Inn - Meal provided and all the visiting you want at Quality Inn Banquet Room.

7 PM - Ada High Football game for those who wish to attend all or part of the game.  Game attendees will be able to return to the Quality Inn for more visiting.  Meantime the rest of us will be visiting.

SATURDAY - October 6th

10:00 AM - Quality Inn Banquet Room:  Presentation by Billie Floyd of a virtual tour of Ada on video.  

11:00 AM   OU/Texas game is early this season.  Quality Inn Dining Room (adjacent to the Banquet Room). Big Screen TV..plenty of space.  

4:00 PM - Videos, "West of Ahloso" and "The Hanging Four".

6:00 PM - Dinner at Quality Inn Banquet Room - Meal provided and more visiting to our heart's content.

Dinner both nights will be Smoked Chicken and Sliced Brisket, Potato Salad and Baked Beans, with all the fixins, catered by Rib Crib.

We will have a fire-pit (courtesy Class of '60) on the patio each night with marshmallows for roasting.
